There is a tremendous amount of skill that goes into turning oneself.  In partner dancing one person turns another. This seems quite straightforward, doesn’t it?  Most leaders do not know how to turn a follower correctly, and most followers do not know how to respond to being turned.

Turning is one of the most enjoyable parts of dancing.  In this wonderful workshop leaders will learn how to turn a follower properly.  Followers will learn how to respond to a lead asking them to turn.  All types of turns will be addressed in this great workshop. Each dancer will also learn how to turn their own body properly. John Ross has been a professional dance instructor for over 40 years.  He is certified by the Terpsichore Association, DVIDA, and NDCA, and has brought the joy of dance to thousands.
