A READING OF A SCREEN PLAY BY LINDA ROSE-MCROY

    Tuesday, May 19 7:00pm

    Synopsis of screen play-

A kid revolution movie about a group of West Virginian 9-year-olds who run away from their opioid-riddled trailer park to the National Forest.  In the wake of her grandfather’s death by overdose, the leader of the pack, Buck, born a girl named Harper, who, “don’t not never wear nothin’ but boys’ clothes,” teaches them all to hunt and fish and trap such that they eat better than ever before.  To everyone’s surprise, they find love and family beyond their wildest dreams.
