AFRICAN DANCE CLASS
A community celebration marks the first night of a new dance class.
This Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Monroe Hall in Santa Rosa dancers and drummers of our county will gather to share the rhythmic steps of West Africa, Congo, Cuba, Haiti and Brazil. Local dance teachers will lead us in a variety of movements and drummers will share the expertise of their musical styles. It will be a celebration for all of us who find joy through world beat music and dance and an honoring of those who locally keep this spirit alive!
